Throughout my four years at Ithaca College, I have taken several classes where the main project has been valuable real world experience. In my senior capstone course, "PR Lab", I was part of a team that initiated a marketing campaign for Edible Finger Lakes, a culinary magazine focusing on local eateries.
In my "Writing for PR" class, we chose a student organization to "represent" for the semester. I chose one that I am quite familiar with, as I am a member, Ithaca Colleges premier coed a capella group IC Voicestream. I created a full press kit including several media releases, fact sheets, a web page layout, web page copy, media alerts, pitch letters and a feature story.
As part of that a capella group, I was the advertising board member, responsible for the design of the posters. I encourage you to look around!
