My senior capstone course allowed me to contribute to an actual organization. The class was split into different agencies and each was assigned a real client. Our client was Edible Fingerlakes, a culinary magazine part of the Edible Communities focusing on locally sourced foods. We created a campaign for the publication with the ultimate goal of increasing subscriptions. We did this by creating a membership card, allowing subscribers to recieve discounts at the restaurants, breweries, distilleries, bakery's etc. that they read about in the magazine. I was personally responsible for flushing out the details of the membership card (pricing, researching potential organization to give discounts etc.) as well as writing an executive summary, fact sheets for the Finger Lakes Wine and Spirits industry and the agriculture industry, and writing a pitch letter. Below are the individual files, and the final book.
